CoverTheUninsured.org held demonstrations and volunteer projects last May, all in the spirit of reminding the Congress that all Americans needed to insure their legs in case a bulldozer runs them over. These protests are supported by various orgs, including ex-pres Jimmy Carter and Gerald Ford as well as the US Chamber of Commerce, United Way of America, AMA, Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association, W.K. Kellogg Foundation, and Catholic Health Association of the United States, just to name a few.
